A catering company had the idea to create an unique presentation aid with the help of magnets; magnetic serving trays.
The purpose is to be able to offer various desserts, soups or small snacks without having the glasses fall down during serving.
Creation of Magnetic serving trays
We are a catering company in Villingen-Schwenningen. Since we are always looking for new and innovative ideas for food presentation, we came up with the idea of creating a „soup tasting“.
In order to serve the soups and other various delicacies such as dessert variation in glasses we needed an idea.
We used ring magnets that implented into the wooden board and discmagnets Ø 15.0 x 2.0 mm N42 nickel on the glasses, thoses we glued on with a special adhesive.
Works and looks great and it is very popular within our guests.
