Even if the result does not correspond to the original idea – our customer has nevertheless created something unique: Design object – tower made of reflective plexiglass with play of colors.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to fully realize my original idea. This was to build a tower of neodymium magnets and plexiglass panels, similar to the one in the pictures below, which would stand on a support plate at a 90° angle from the wall. However, I overestimated the pulling force of the magnets and underestimated gravity 😉 In other words, it falls apart if you tilt it.
So this vertical stack was created out of necessity. The plexiglass is from the fluorescent range. I simply bought several samples and removed the labels (lighter fluid! Otherwise you’ll be fiddling around forever…). The plexiglass reacts very strongly to light with UV components. Since my LED lamp in the room emits UV light, especially with mixed blue tones (or blue 😉 ), this enormous play of colors is created. The photos have not been edited!
