Homemade chiroscope

Our customer is introducing us to her magnetic application today: a homemade chiroscope as a training device with neodymium magnets.

Homemade chiroscope

Hello dear Magnet Shop team!

I’m a vision trainer and run a shop for vision training products. Among other things, I offer a homemade chiroscope, which I managed to create a wonderful mount using your rod magnets, self-adhesive magnetic foil, and disc magnets.

By the way:
A (mirror) chiroscope is a screening and training device used in vision training.
With the chiroscope, you look through the two round holes containing magnifying lenses. The mirror/septum clamped underneath separates the visual fields of the eyes.
The purpose of this is to test and train hand-eye-brain coordination.

Here, we’ve achieved a wonderful and reliable holder for the paper using the self-adhesive magnetic foil in combination with the four disc magnets.

We also attached two bar magnets to holes in the frame, creating an easily replaceable holder for the dividers (mirror or septum).
