Magnetic lampshade

Magnetic lampshade for a secure and stable hold.

Magnetic lampshade

Hello Magnet Shop team,

Here’s my DIY project using your magnets. I would love to see it posted on your blog.

We use your magnets to attach an acrylic lampshade to the base of a table lamp.
The magnets are glued into the base, and a metal clip is attached to the lampshade.
Thanks to the four-point hold, the lampshade always sits straight and can be removed by gently twisting.

Magnetic adhesives are used in a variety of ways today – for example, to install smoke detectors, attach magnetic boards to walls, glue metal cabinets, and much more.
Craft enthusiasts, in particular, benefit from adhesive magnets – they can let their creativity run wild.
DIY enthusiasts also have many options open to them with the right adhesive for magnets. With it, you can quickly complete minor repairs or mount objects, such as a magnet in a cabinet door. Magnetic door holders or drawer locks can also be glued in just a few steps.
Another popular application for magnetic adhesives is car repairs. A good adhesive can make your life much easier.

Certain materials, such as plastic or metal, are not necessarily suitable as a base for every type of adhesive. Therefore, when selecting a magnetic adhesive, you should always pay close attention to its properties and which materials it is suitable for.
Smooth surfaces are particularly difficult. For these, you need a strong adhesive for magnets with sufficient adhesive strength.
