Attachment of a cable guide with protective tube and pipe clamps to the meter box itself
Material used:
- 3 x neodymium pot magnets Ø 32.0 x 7.0 mm, internal thread M6, 26 kg
- M6 x 16 pan head screws
- Pipe clamp OBO Bettermann for 32 mm pipe
- Protection tube 32 mm diameter
- cable 5 x 16 mm² flex
Goal:
- Flexible attachment of a pipe guide to the metal housing of the meter cabinet without drilling dowel holes in a confined space
- Simplified insertion of the cable into the grid cable support under the ceiling, which would be difficult to do with this thick cable if the cable was routed on the wall
What to pay attention to:
- Actually not much, the M6 screws should of course not be too long in length depends on the cable clamp used

Functioning of the neodymium pot magnets with steel pot:
The strong NdFeB magnets are installed in a steel pot. This metal housing protects the neodymium magnet from damage and increases the adhesive force. In order to achieve an optimal adhesive force, the pot magnet must rest directly on the metallic surface. A thin sheet of iron or paint can reduce the adhesive force very quickly. The adhesive force only acts on the open magnet side, since the steel pot shields the magnetic effect.
Special feature:
These magnets have a central hole with a continuous metric thread. Objects with external threads such as screws can be screwed to the holding magnet so quickly. The maximum operating temperature is 80 ° C
