Fly screen attachment thanks to magnets

Hello Magnet Shop Team,

I wanted to show you my instructions for attaching a fly screen without a frame using magnets and washers.

Not everyone has the money to buy an expensive fly screen frame. These are simply too unwieldy or bulky. Fly screens are usually attached with Velcro. This doesn’t hold up enough. The fly screen tears very easily. Removing it and reattaching it becomes a pain.
My problem was that I have flowers outside the window. I have to water them regularly.
I have a fly screen in the window frame. The insects stay outside and the cats inside.
After removing the grille several times, it was already damaged.
Hence the idea of using magnets.

For this I used blockmagnet 10.0 x 10.0 x 2.0 mm N45 nickel – holds 1.2 kg glued into the frame. Next I sewed M5 washers to the fly screen. Now the fly screen can be pulled off with one pull. It can be securely attached in just a few simple steps.

With most of our neodymium blockmagnets, the north and south poles are on the two opposite large surfaces. The few exceptions can be seen on the extra image. Like our neodymium disc magnets, these blocks also fall into the „neodymium super magnets“ category. With our large selection you are sure to find the right magnet for your purposes.
We offer the strong neodymium magnets with a nickel or epoxy coating. For example, magnets with a black epoxy coating are better suited for humid environments.
