Photographing underwater can sometimes be very difficult.
Magnets in underwater photography
Diving in itself is a very demanding hobby due to poor visibility, currents, cold temperatures and many other dangers. However, when photography also comes into play, it becomes a real challenge. Cameras and water are basically not a good idea at first. That is why it is important to take special measures here and often you have to be a little inventive. A customer makes use of the power of our magnets (neodymium: cube 5 x 5 x 5 mm, block 6 x 5 x 1.8 mm).
Due to the low light conditions, the flash function switches on automatically under water. However, the mechanically unfolded flash cannot be switched off again through the housing. As a result, shots with sufficient exposure do not achieve the desired result.
However, this can easily be prevented with a few small block and cube magnets.
Conveniently, these prevent the flash function from being switched on due to their magnetic force on a certain point on the camera body. In this way, optimal exposure is achieved without opening the underwater housing to change settings on the camera.
The use of magnets in underwater photography – A really ingenious use for our little helpers!
Nevertheless, the question arises for us: „How do you come up with something like this?!“
Here you can see a few more impressive results of the underwater pictures taken.
